Humanity carries an enduring, quiet inquiry: Where do we come from, and what is the nature of existence itself?
As the opening piece of this existential series, "From the Unknown" translates this question into sound. Atmospheric, mysterious textures open the piece before giving way to the Ney—one of Persian culture's most ancient and deeply spiritual instruments. By weaving the Ney, Daf, and Harp alongside modern electronic elements and electric guitar, the composition builds a bridge between ancient wisdom and contemporary sound, mirroring our timeless search for meaning.
Visual Concept & Discovery
The artwork—designed by aZerOne through 3D modeling—depicts an artificial womb set within a vast, solitary desert. It captures the concept of nested realities: humanity moving from one world into the next, unaware of where we truly stand or how many realms exist along our journey.
Two years after creating the piece, a visit to the Shahdad Kaluts in Iran revealed a real-world landscape nearly identical to the original 3D render—a striking, unprompted alignment between imagined vision and physical reality.
Rebellious Spirit
Rebellious Spirit expresses the moment when human consciousness diverges from instinctive, natural life and begins questioning the meaning of existence. The rhythm is active and progressively complex, mirroring the spiritual turbulence that arises when one challenges the boundaries of ordinary life.
The central theme is the emergence of rebellion — the human spirit asking its first questions and calling other spirits to follow it into the complexity of self‑discovery.
